Rugby, snowboarding, skiing, football, tennis, cycling

All sports can result in injuries. Common injuries of the shoulder in rugby are ACJ dislocations (which might need surgery to reduce it), ACJ arthritis, Shoulder dislocations, SLAP lesions, recurrent shoulder dislocations and Shoulder arthritis. Snowboarding injuries are similar to rugby injuries but I see more fractures of the collar bone. Football injuries tend to be more due to falls, dislocations and recurrent dislocations are commoner. Racquet sports and cricket and associated with impingement syndromes, cuff tears, ACJ damage and are generally overuse injury in the aging sportsman / sportswoman.

Cycling injuries are related to falls and often have ACJ dislocations or collar bone fractures.
